We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions. The PTA will demonstrate effective communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients, based on their specific needs and goals.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques as directed by the Physical Therapist.

- Monitor patient progress and document treatment sessions accurately in accordance with state and federal regulations.

- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation goals, exercises, and home care strategies to enhance recovery.

- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and safety standards in practice.

Qualifications:

- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.

- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus but not required.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
